BLACKOUT is a threat intelligence platform that documents what marketing technology vendors actually do at runtime. We built this to shine light on undisclosed data collection. We're not about to engage in the same behavior ourselves.
We collect your email for account access and service delivery. We don't track you, sell your data, or build profiles on you. Intelligence we provide is about vendors, not about you.
ZERO trackers on this site. We use Plausible for privacy-friendly analytics. No GA. No Meta Pixel. No session replay. Practice what you preach.
What We Collect
Account Information
Email address for authentication (sign-in is passwordless — we email you a one-time link). Payment details processed by Stripe (we never see full card numbers).
Usage Data
Which features you access, search queries within our platform, and export activity — to improve the product and provide support.
Continuous Monitoring Targets
If you opt in, the domains you request monitoring for (must be properties you own/operate).
